HMC Capital has acquired data centre platform iseek for AUD $400 million, enhancing its strategy to launch a Global Digital Infrastructure Platform.

Internet pioneer Scott Hicks is now CEO of digital infrastructure group iseek, following the firm's acquisition of his business, YourDC. Hicks plans to boost iseek's growth trajectory.

YourDC has launched cloud services, including infrastructure, storage, back-up, disaster recovery, virtual servers, firewalls and testing as-a-service.
