Verne Global appoints Natasha Mehta as Head of Project Management
Sustainable data centre services provider, Verne Global, has announced the appointment of Natasha Mehta to the newly created role of Head of Project Management. The role is pivotal to the ongoing development and scale of Verne Global's operations as a leading data centre provider in Europe.
Prior to joining Verne Global, Mehta held the position of Associate Director at VIPA Digital, where she provided project management and consulting services to both data centre providers and investors. Mehta has also held senior roles at Arcadis and Digital Realty. Her extensive experience in the critical infrastructure sector and in the data centre industry is expected to provide valuable insight and drive efficiencies at Verne Global.
The London-based role involves delivering all of Verne Global's major projects, including new builds, data hall fit-outs, and other strategic initiatives. As part of her key responsibilities, Natasha will maintain the efficiency of project planning and execution, staying within the set constraints of time, scope and budget. Additionally, she will be responsible for establishing and maintaining standardised processes and methodologies throughout the company's extensive data centre platform, spanning Iceland, Finland and the UK. This will ensure that all current and future projects follow consistent best practice guidelines.
Along with her industry experience, Mehta's academic background in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney is likely to bring an informed perspective to the position.
