FLOW Digital Infrastructure has named Sanjay Goel as Chief Executive Officer, alongside new appointments to its leadership team.

FLOW Digital Infrastructure, a PAG company active in the Asia Pacific data centre and digital infrastructure market, has announced that Sanjay Goel has become the company's CEO with immediate effect.

Mr. Goel will be responsible for overseeing the company's next phase of growth and will drive its strategic direction and execution of its business plan.

In addition to Mr. Goel's appointment, FLOW has also announced the appointments of Andrew Oon as Chief Commercial Officer and Onno Reijgersberg as Chief Business Operations Officer. Both take up their new positions immediately.

Established in 2021, FLOW has developed six data centre facilities across Asia Pacific with more than 170MW of current and near-term planned IT load capacity.

On his appointment, Mr. Goel said, "I'm excited to join FLOW at this pivotal moment of its growth journey. The opportunity to lead a dynamic, dedicated team to help build the digital future for Asia Pacific is truly energizing."

Discussing the company's approach and prospects, Mr. Goel added, "We expect demand for data centers to continue to outpace supply, especially in Asia Pacific's high-growth markets, which presents significant opportunities for FLOW. Our goal as a hyperscaler-grade data center platform is to deliver reliable, scalable and innovative digital infrastructure solutions for customers, both hyperscalers and enterprise alike."

He also outlined the regional requirements and strategic partnerships underlying FLOW's approach. "The region requires digital infrastructure solutions that combine global standards with local expertise. Leveraging on PAG's established business presence, relationships and deep roots in real estate development in key Asia markets, FLOW will continue to scale its operational capabilities to build an industry-leading center of excellence for design and engineering, accelerate time-to-market of its solutions, and forge deeper ties with stakeholders, including hyperscaler and enterprise clients, channel partners and system integrators," Mr. Goel said.

Mr. Goel brings over 30 years of business leadership experience in the telecommunications, information technology and engineering sectors. He has held senior positions with responsibilities in Asia and Europe, most recently as Executive Vice President & President for Asia Pacific at American Tower, where he led business operations in the region. Previously, he served as President of the Global Services business group and Operations at Nokia, overseeing strategy, P&L management, and business operations in over 100 countries.

PAG, which owns FLOW, remains an active supporter of the company's expansion aims. The company is one of Asia's largest real estate investors, with extensive experience and resources in the region.

Phi Le, Partner and Co-head of Real Assets at PAG, said, "We are delighted to welcome Sanjay to lead FLOW in its next chapter of expansion. Sanjay has a proven track record in scaling businesses and driving outperformance. His depth of experience and industry expertise make him the ideal leader to successfully drive FLOW's business forward."

Mr. Le added, "PAG as one of Asia's largest real estate investors is fully committed to FLOW's growth plans, leveraging our talent, access to capital, deep local networks and strategic land sourcing capabilities in core markets in Asia Pacific. We are confident that Sanjay's expertise, together with the expanded leadership team, will accelerate the execution of our strategic plans."

The addition of Andrew Oon and Onno Reijgersberg further strengthens the FLOW leadership team.

Mr. Oon, appointed as Chief Commercial Officer, has over 22 years of experience in the data centre industry. His recent role was Vice President of Sales at Digital Edge, overseeing customer and market acquisition and business revenue in emerging Asian markets.
