Epsilon appoints chief commercial officer to drive growth in new markets

Epsilon has appointed Lee Myall, who previously worked for Europe's Interoute, as chief commercial officer. In this role Myall will manage Epsilon's sales and different units within the business.

According to the company, the appointment marks a new period for Epsilon, where the focus is to expand its market share in different areas around the globe - particularly for enterprises.

Myall will be based in the London office and from here will lead sales and business development units, working to transform areas of the business and win sales.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Myall has held senior vice president and managing director positions.

Most recently he worked at Interoute, which operated one of Europe's cloud services platform. Before Interoute, he held leadership positions at WAM!NET, which was acquired by SAVVIS.

Myall says, "I see tremendous potential for Epsilon to expand its scope and use its Software-Defined Networking (SDN) platform to serve growing enterprise demand. In this role, I will build on my experience in transforming wholesale businesses to compete in the enterprise space and support Epsilon's global growth.

He says, “It is a unique business with a model that is aligned with new enterprise expectations for service delivery, performance, and control. It is an exciting time to join Epsilon and be part of its transformation journey."

Epsilon CEO  Jerzy Szlosarek says, “Lee brings unique experience to our business and will support our long-term growth across new market segments. He understands what it takes to deliver across the entire value chain, from wholesale carriers through to enterprises.

In January of this year, Epsilon appointed Colin Whitbread as its managing director, service, and operations.

Whitbread is leading the operational side of Epsilon's transformation and expansion into new market segments while also working to improve customer service, according to the company.

Whitbread joined Epsilon from TalkTalk, a UK PLC communications company, where he was COO, technology.

Epsilon is a global connectivity and communications network service provider covering 26 markets. It serves SaaS, PaaS, OTTs, content and media, enterprises in addition to its carrier customer base.

More recently it added Enterprise WAN services and Data Center Interconnect solutions. Epsilon's SDN Platform, Infiny, provides access to more than 600 service providers, cloud service providers (CSPs), and internet exchanges from a single solution.
