Vantiq & Argosy enter strategic partnership to boost AI in Southeast Asia
Vantiq has entered into a strategic partnership with Manila-based Argosy Partners, aimed at accelerating the deployment of real-time artificial intelligence systems across Southeast Asia, with a focus on the Philippines.
Through this alliance, Vantiq will leverage Argosy Partners' local expertise to introduce its event-driven AI platform to a variety of sectors, including public safety, healthcare, defence, and smart city initiatives.
Regional growth
According to Nonoy Colayco, Founder of Argosy Partners, increased investments are being directed into healthcare, climate resilience, and infrastructure across the region. Colayco stated, "Southeast Asia is accelerating investments in healthcare capacity, climate resilience and smart infrastructure. Vantiq's ability to integrate AI and IoT in real time gives our clients a practical way to meet those ambitions while keeping data governance and security front and centre."
The partnership is designed to reduce the time required for organisations to move from concept to live operational stages, offering the possibility of achieving operational status in weeks rather than years, according to information provided by the companies.
Live demonstrations
The agreement between the two firms was finalised during a series of demonstrations to regional stakeholders, illustrating how real-time AI systems can facilitate operational decisions in sectors such as hospital triage and citywide surveillance. These demonstrations highlighted the increasing demand for systems that process and act on streaming data in real time, without the need for extensive changes to existing workforce structures.
Sameer Bhandari, Vantiq Head of Business Development for APAC, said, "The strategic relationship between Vantiq and Argosy Partners positions us to serve the entire Southeast Asian market. Leveraging Argosy's local expertise alongside Vantiq's real-time intelligence platform, we can accelerate regional deployments for impactful, scalable growth."
Target sectors
The alliance will focus on addressing the needs of both public and private sector organisations in Southeast Asia, where there is a growing requirement to improve public safety, deliver more effective healthcare, enhance national security, and manage cities more efficiently.
The Vantiq platform, combined with Argosy Partners' local market understanding, is designed to provide a framework in which agencies can sense, interpret, and act on critical events using artificial intelligence, while minimising the need for new infrastructure projects.
"We are incredibly excited and grateful to form this strategic relationship with Argosy, whose strong presence and understanding of the Southeast Asian market will be invaluable," said Marty Sprinzen, Vantiq co-founder and chief executive officer. "By pairing Argosy's regional expertise with Vantiq's Intelligence Platform, we can help governments and businesses deploy scalable systems that improve critical services, speed disaster response and unlock inclusive economic growth."
Organisations interested in exploring AI-supported applications for public safety, health, defence, or smart cities are being encouraged to participate in pilot programmes and technical consultations as part of the new collaboration.
Engaging stakeholders
As part of the rollout, Vantiq and Argosy Partners plan to engage with government agencies, healthcare providers, city planners, and other stakeholders to identify projects that could benefit from the expedited deployment of real-time AI solutions.
The two companies are also expected to collaborate on sharing best practices for deployment and to develop frameworks supporting secure and responsible use of artificial intelligence within critical and sensitive operations.
The partnership is positioned to provide a foundation for growth in the application of advanced AI technologies across the region, according to the statements from both firms.
