Telehouse & SYMPHONY unite to boost Thailand’s digital hub role

Mon, 17th Nov 2025

Telehouse Thailand and SYMPHONY have announced a new strategic partnership to enhance cloud adoption and interconnection services in Thailand, with the goal of strengthening the nation's position as a key digital hub for enterprises operating across ASEAN.

Infrastructure integration

The agreement brings together Telehouse's carrier-neutral data centre infrastructure based in Bangkok with SYMPHONY's extensive domestic and cross-border fibre network and suite of cloud offerings. The combined resources will enable enterprises to access secure, low-latency connections and enhanced multi-cloud interconnection capabilities.

SYMPHONY's network backbone connects to Telehouse's Bangkok facility, which is fully powered by renewable energy and supports secure, scalable connectivity for businesses undergoing digital transformation. Both partners state that their collaboration will offer high levels of operational reliability, security and network reach for Thai and regional enterprises.

Cloud service delivery

A core aspect of the partnership is the provision of SYMPHONY's range of cloud services, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) and managed cloud solutions. By enabling direct connections to various cloud environments through Telehouse's data centre, SYMPHONY seeks to serve the demands of enterprise clients for scalable and flexible digital infrastructure.

"SYMPHONY is proud to collaborate with Telehouse in strengthening Thailand's position as a key digital hub in the ASEAN region. Together, we are building a powerful foundation of cloud and connectivity that enables enterprises to grow globally with confidence. This partnership reinforces our commitment to deliver exceptional infrastructure that drives innovation and growth across the region," said Alex Loh, Chief Executive Officer, SYMPHONY COMMUNICATION.

Regional reach

The combined network coverage enables seamless cross-border connectivity between Thailand, ASEAN countries, and international destinations, including Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and European markets. SYMPHONY's high-capacity fibre and submarine cable assets, together with Telehouse's network of data centres, aim to provide enterprises and service providers with reliable, fast access to key international markets.

The Bangkok data centre is built to achieve 99.999% power supply uptime, supported by four independent fibre routes. The facility also carries the I-REC certification and uses 100% renewable energy. Alongside operational stability, the partnership emphasises compliance with PCI DSS standards for secure data management.

Strategic ambitions

Both companies position the partnership as a step towards supporting the Thai government's strategy to enhance digital infrastructure and drive the country's aspirations to become a regional digital and data hub. The partners anticipate that enhanced cloud interconnectivity and robust cross-border links will foster further digital transformation for both enterprises and carriers.

"It is a pleasure to support our valuable partner, SYMPHONY, and their customers' growth," said Ken Miyashita, Managing Director, Telehouse Thailand. "Our robust interconnection ecosystem empowers enterprises to harness AI-driven and cloud-based services with greater agility, scalability, and reliability."
