Mark Ablett to lead HPE Networking growth in Asia Pacific
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has appointed Mark Ablett as Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan at HPE Networking.
Expanded responsibilities
In his new role, Ablett is responsible for overseeing the integrated sales organisation following HPE's acquisition of Juniper Networks. He will guide overall business operations, setting strategic direction, executing plans, and managing growth initiatives across the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
Ablett was previously leading HPE Aruba Networking's business strategy and execution after joining HPE in 2024. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the Asia Pacific and Japan market, including experience managing teams and delivering growth across the region.
Industry experience
Before joining HPE, Ablett served as President of the Digital Infrastructure business unit at Hitachi Vantara. In that role, he managed global and geo-level businesses and is credited with driving growth and business impact. His career began in enterprise sales and marketing, and he later took on leadership roles overseeing APAC, ANZ, and ASEAN operations.
Ablett also spent nearly seven years with Juniper Networks, which is now part of HPE Networking. At Juniper Networks, he held various leadership positions, helping steer operations across the region.
Combined strengths
His current responsibilities at HPE Networking are focused on driving growth and customer success by bringing together HPE Aruba Networking and Juniper Networks, forming a unified organisation in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. Ablett is tasked with combining the go-to-market strategies of these two business arms to provide integrated networking solutions for customers and partners.
