InfrOS has launched Evolving Architecture, a tool designed to update cloud infrastructure as AI workloads change. It is aimed at organisations managing infrastructure across multiple cloud environments.

The offering tracks infrastructure drift, identifies newly available cloud features and recommends changes to existing environments. According to InfrOS, each recommendation is emulated, benchmarked and validated before deployment so IT teams can assess the likely trade-offs in effort, risk and operational impact.

Infrastructure drift

In this context, drift refers to gradual changes in workloads or operating conditions that leave an existing cloud setup misaligned with current performance, security or cost requirements. Evolving Architecture can be added to workloads already in use or included when new environments are deployed.

The launch comes as spending on AI-related infrastructure rises. InfrOS cited Gartner figures forecasting that AI-optimised infrastructure-as-a-service spending will grow 96% in 2026 to USD $42 billion.

That increase is putting pressure on companies to revisit earlier infrastructure decisions as AI applications reshape computing demands. InfrOS argues that static planning methods are often too slow to keep pace with changes in workloads, business requirements and cloud services.

Recommended changes are assessed against factors including performance, security, cost, reliability, scalability, maintainability and deployment complexity. The goal is to give infrastructure teams a clearer view of whether a proposed change justifies the engineering effort and operational risk.

Cloud coverage

The product supports workloads running on AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, as well as hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Naor Porat, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of InfrOS, said the launch reflects the scale of cloud and AI investment now under way.

"Companies are making $100 billion plus bets on infrastructure, especially as they build for AI," said Naor Porat, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of InfrOS. "However, cloud and AI infrastructure are not one-time investments. As workloads, business requirements and technologies evolve rapidly in the age of AI, infrastructure must evolve with them. We created Evolving Architecture to close the gap between what was planned and what the business actually needs today, in real time. InfrOS replicates and tests infrastructure changes before companies invest significant engineering resources or capital in putting them into production."

InfrOS positions Evolving Architecture as an extension of its broader infrastructure operating system, which gathers business and technical requirements, compares architecture options and generates production-ready infrastructure as code. The platform also includes FinOps and compliance controls.

Customer feedback

Customer comments in the announcement focused on visibility into existing environments and on prioritising remediation or optimisation work.

"InfrOS makes your deployment work stronger. Evolving Architecture brings that same clarity to what's already running. Automated Mapping shows us everything in the environment, Knowledge Enrichment explains why each piece is there, the Cost Optimization Analyser flags waste with the evidence behind it, and Gain/Risk/Effort scoring tells us what to tackle first. No manual audits, no guesswork, just clear recommendations we can act on," said George Bock, Chief Information Officer of Redion US.

A second customer reference highlighted the company's effort to pair identification of infrastructure changes with ranking and supporting context.

"Working with the InfrOS team was a very positive experience. The platform not only identified meaningful cloud optimization opportunities but also provided the context and prioritization needed to turn insights into actionable next steps," said Michalis Michailidis, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Services for PPC, the leading electric utility company in Greece.
