Frost - Sullivan held their annual Australia Excellence Awards in Sydney this week, recognsing the nation's top companies that pushed the boundaries of excellence.

Mark Dougan, managing director, Frost - Sullivan Australia, comments, “We hope this recognition will continue to help drive innovation and excellence in the Australian market.

One of the big winners of the night was Metronode, who was named Australia's Data Center Service Provider of The Year.

Yu Xuan Ng, Frost - Sullivan industry analyst for Digital Transformation, says Metronode had expanded its footprint in Australia rapidly, doubling its IT load capacity in 2017.

“Metronode is one of the fastest data center operators in Australia to build a facility from start to finish, having completed the final stages of a data center expansion for a major international customer in Melbourne this year in record time.

“With a commitment to speed-to-market, Metronode attained impressive growth in 2017.

In light of the win, Metronode's CEO David Yuile, comments on the past year, ““This year, Metronode has proved to the market that we can build our facilities quicker than any other provider in the country.

“It has been a great year for Metronode and we are proud of all we have achieved.

“Data centers are the factories of the future and we can expect more customer demand and many more facilities built in 2018.

Datacom took home the 2017 Australia Contact Center Services Growth Excellence Leadership award.

In recognition of the award win, Kirsty Hunter, managing director, Datacom Connect says, “We are really happy to receive this award and recognition, as we have been investing and growing our capability in service design, AI and intelligent automation and customer experience consulting for a number of years, and are committed to continuing to do so.
