Adeptia posts double-digit growth as AI data automation expands
Adeptia has reported double-digit revenue growth in the first half of the year and expansion into new industry sectors, according to the company's latest update.
The data automation company stated it had accelerated its operations in the second quarter, noting particular growth in business intelligence and analytics technology, medical manufacturing, and financial advising sectors. In addition to these moves, Adeptia has acquired new customers and reported high rates of customer retention as the company enters the third quarter.
As part of its ongoing development, the company has confirmed strategic appointments across its operational, product architecture, and engineering teams. These hires are intended to further progress its AI-driven product initiatives, supporting a broader roadmap aligned with customers' needs for intelligent data automation.
Industry challenges
A key theme highlighted by Adeptia is the difficulty enterprises face in managing unstructured data, which accounts for an estimated 80-90% of all data generated. The company referenced research suggesting that, despite a tenfold increase in data volumes expected between 2020 and 2030, only half of chief data and analytics officers currently feel equipped to utilise their data to drive innovation.
Charles Nardi, Chief Executive Officer at Adeptia, said:
"In today's fast-moving digital economy, the ability to leverage clean data from the very first mile is a game-changer. When enterprises can seamlessly connect and operationalise all of their data across business and operations, they not only accelerate their decision-making and efficiency, but also create the agility needed to innovate, personalise customer experiences, and create a competitive advantage in their markets. Our latest numbers reflect that the demand for intelligent, AI-enabled data automation is universal across industries."
The company attributes its recent performance to the universal need for improved data flow, regardless of the sector. Adeptia's solution aims to support businesses by making data more accessible and usable, enhancing both operational and strategic decision-making.
Platform developments
Following recent product launches, Adeptia has expanded its data automation platform offerings to include both self-managed and hybrid deployment models. These models are designed to address organisations' requirements around compliance and data security, particularly within highly regulated industries.
The self-managed deployment option is available through major cloud providers Microsoft Azure and AWS and is supported by Adeptia's Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team. According to the company, this option is intended to provide customers the flexibility and security of on-premise solutions, combined with the simplicity of a software-as-a-service model.
Market context
Industry analysts and studies, including recent work from McKinsey, indicate steady growth in data generation and an increased emphasis on extracting business value from this data. With only a minority of companies feeling fully equipped to drive innovation with their data, platforms aiming to automate and streamline data utilisation are attracting wider attention.
Adeptia's executive team maintains that its focus on supporting enterprises with unstructured and inconsistent 'first-mile' data can help bridge the gap between raw data generation and actionable business insight. This, the company argues, will be key as data volumes and sources continue to expand over the coming years.
The company reports that hundreds of organisations worldwide currently use its platform, with use cases spanning various industries and operational contexts.
As Adeptia enters the next quarter, it continues to pursue its product roadmap with an emphasis on artificial intelligence capabilities and broadened deployment options, seeking to address the changing needs of businesses managing large-scale, complex data environments.
