Vantage Data Centers opens a regional office in Hong Kong
Vantage Data Centers, a provider of hyperscale data centre campuses, has officially opened a new office in Hong Kong. The office serves as the regional hub to house engineering, construction, sales and leadership functions to support Vantage's expanding business across the APAC region.
"With the number of data centre campuses and employees here, we see the Hong Kong regional office as instrumental in driving our ambitious growth plans," says Giles Proctor, chief operating officer of Vantage's APAC business.
"The modern office will empower our high-performing team to better serve our customer base in APAC as we continue to expand our footprint to meet demand and realize our vision for growth."
Located in the heart of Kowloon, the 5,000-square-foot office can accommodate up to 50 employees. Vantage is committed to creating workplaces that promote diversity, prioritize employee safety, and build a teamwork culture to increase efficiency and deliver world-class solutions.
Vantage Data Centers (VDC) currently has more than 180 employees based in Asia Pacific; a workforce nearly doubled since the company entered the region in late 2021. Vantage's APAC headquarters is in Singapore, while its global headquarters is in Denver.
VDC powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world's well-known hyper-scalers, cloud providers and large enterprises.
Developing and operating across five continents in North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, VDC has evolved data centre design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.
From turnkey to an entire build-to-suit scenario, the company takes the guesswork out of how the clients can scale quickly and reliably. It provides four types of data centre solutions.
The first solution is called Rack Ready. "With breakers and outlets in place, rack ready spaces are the most turnkey of turnkey solutions. Simply load your equipment into your secure space, make your network connections, and you're up and running in no time. Of course, we're here throughout to answer any questions and provide support where needed," explains VDC.
The second solution is called Whitespace. "Here's wholesale capacity ready for you to configure to your specific design and operational needs. You control the location and installation of breakers, outlets and network connections, all to match your vision of the most efficient use of your space," says VDC.
But what if the client needs an extremely large-scale data centre with designs that feature new and out-of-the-box ways to connect, power, cool, or maintain?
In such cases, VDC works with the client to build a one-of-a-kind data centre that meets their unique needs.
VDC also offers supporting fit-out services to prepare clients for any eventuality, whichever hyperscale data centre option they choose.
Whether electrical distribution installation or an office space built out, VDC works with the client and creates the perfect environment to support the data module and on-site needs.
