Temus, AWS & DISG to help 300 firms scale AI with SGD $600,000 aid

Tue, 29th Jul 2025

Temus has announced its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) to assist more businesses in Singapore in transitioning from exploring artificial intelligence (AI) to wider AI integration.

The partnership is being positioned as part of the AWS AI Springboard initiative, a programme aimed at supporting up to 300 Singapore-based companies in adopting and scaling AI, while developing sustainable capabilities for long-term use. The initiative offers eligible businesses up to SGD $600,000 in cloud credits and training to reduce barriers to entry for AI adoption.

Consultancy focus

Temus will serve as a consulting partner, providing tailored guidance to businesses throughout their AI journey. The firm's services are designed to help enterprises progress beyond initial experimentation towards achieving operational outcomes, such as improved resilience, enhanced customer experiences, and higher workforce productivity.

According to Temus, its approach facilitates engagement at every critical phase, whether organisations are assessing early opportunities, scaling pilot AI programmes, or optimising current infrastructure. The consultancy intends to support firms in diverse high-impact sectors, including logistics, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), real estate, and education.

Sector applications

In logistics and transport, the company points to the development of AI-powered control towers to strengthen real-time visibility and support operational decision-making. Within FMCG, AI is being used to unify disparate data systems and protect business-critical institutional knowledge.

The real estate industry, including property and hospitality businesses, is leveraging AI-enabled systems to modernise how documents are retrieved and streamline case management processes. In education, generative AI agents are being introduced to monitor academic dialogues and respond to recurring queries, as well as to capture policy clarifications, administrative decisions, and staff insights for ongoing process improvement.

People at the centre

"We believe that the true promise of AI lies in how it empowers people," said Lai Yee Ng, Chief Executive Officer, Temus. "Our partnerships with AWS and DISG are foundational to scaling this vision. AWS provides the platform to move with speed and confidence, and DISG helps strengthen connections across Singapore's digital ecosystem. Together, we are not just building technology. We are enabling organisations to move beyond pilots and into production with AI solutions that learn, adapt and deliver real societal and economic value. Ultimately, it is about putting people at the centre and helping them achieve more with the tools and insights AI can bring."

Lai Yee Ng emphasised that the collaboration aims to translate technological enhancements into tangible societal and economic benefits, supporting organisations in moving from testing AI solutions to deploying them in daily operations.

Megha Saxena, Director, Consulting & Design at Temus, reinforced the importance of a people-centred approach in realising the benefits of AI for enterprises in Singapore.

"With our proven track record in AI transformation, we understand that successful AI adoption is a long-term journey that requires a deeply human-centric approach," said Megha Saxena. "We work closely with organisations to ensure AI solutions enhance human capabilities, supporting teams through every stage of transformation whilst building internal capacity for sustained success. Our focus is on empowering people and creating lasting organisational change that drives competitive advantage."

Partnership structure

Under the AWS AI Springboard programme, participating firms will gain access to a suite of support services from Temus. These include end-to-end consultation, guidance through the early stages of AI opportunity identification, and assistance with scaling AI projects in production environments. The aim is to accelerate digital transformation, reduce implementation costs and avoid unnecessary complexity.

Temus, headquartered in Singapore, has approximately 200 employees specialising in strategy, design, architecture, technology, data, and AI. The organisation was established by Temasek in partnership with UST to offer digital transformation solutions across private and public sectors, with a stated goal of contributing to Singapore's Smart Nation vision.
