Schneider Electric has been recognised as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Energy Transition Professional Services 2025 Vendor Assessment. The assessment evaluates professional services providers on their capabilities and strategies to help organisations in energy-intensive sectors work towards net-zero objectives.

Advisory services

The company's SE Advisory Services network operates across 192 countries. Schneider Electric's advisory offering consists of more than 4,000 consultants focused on energy transition and sustainability. These professionals are supported by over 17,000 specialists in disciplines spanning software, machine learning, engineering, climate science and project development.

According to the company, this global expertise is structured to enable consistent implementation of energy transition projects regardless of location or regulatory context.

"The energy transition requires organizations to move beyond the compliance checklist and embrace a low-carbon future that is technologically advanced and highly efficient.
We are honored to be named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape and believe it reflects Schneider Electric's commitment to being a trusted energy technology partner. Our advisory services integrate global expertise, intelligent technology, and seamless implementation to empower our clients to build resilience in a rapidly evolving energy landscape," said Steve Wilhite, Executive Vice President, SE Advisory Services, Schneider Electric.

Digital and AI focus

IDC MarketScape noted Schneider Electric's development strategy in the energy transition sector, which centres on proprietary digital platforms, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence. According to the assessment, these capabilities allow Schneider Electric to enable solutions such as AI-driven maintenance, predictive asset monitoring, and modular software for life-cycle management.

The company has accelerated its technology capabilities through internal research and development and a €1 billion SE Ventures fund. Its investments support developments in electrification, digitalisation, and decarbonisation.

Market validation

Independent perspectives from market analysts highlighted demand for providers capable of linking energy infrastructure with advanced digital systems.

"Industry customers want professional services providers that can connect physical energy infrastructure with advanced digital technologies, enabling smarter and resilient operations," said Gaia Gallotti, Research Director, Europe, IDC.

Sustainability rankings

Schneider Electric has also been ranked at the top of the 2025 list of the World's Most Sustainable Companies by TIME and Statista. Corporate Knights named it the World's Most Sustainable Corporation, making it the only company to lead the Global 100 index twice.
