Odaseva expands in APAC and UK with more security features
Tue, 10th May 2022
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Odaseva, a data platform for Salesforce, has announced it's establishing a new headquarter in London as well as a new data center in India.

The company surpassed 93 million users in March this year and says 2022 is a landmark year for expansion, also highlighted by new product offerings and significant data and user milestones.

Odaseva says its newly formed UK headquarters in London makes it the company's fourth global hub alongside San Francisco, Paris and Sydney.

Meanwhile, a new data center in India supports Salesforce's rollout of Hyperforce in the world's sixth-largest economy. Odaseva says it's the first provider to offer services collocated to Hyperforce.

Odaseva says it's not only compatible with Hyperforce, but customers can decide on the data center where they want to run the Odaseva platform, a service that is going to be offered for every Hyperforce region.

Odaseva says its business in APAC will also develop under new hire Olivier Rachon, who has unmatched experience with the Salesforce ecosystem. The company says, as the distinguished architect and general manager for Australia, Rachon will hire and develop talent, create new services, and draw from his background to help architect complex solutions with Odasevas customers.

The company's chief revenue officer Eleanor Treharne-Jones says its global growth is underscored by market demand as organisations manage their data, the fifth fuel, in locations around the world.

"Most enterprises are moving towards becoming sales-led, as the need for seamless customer service is greater than ever," she says.

"We are meeting rising demand for our solutions which can keep data close to the customer across geographies, while also keeping the enterprise in line with local data regulations."

The company is also offering a new security product, 'Bring Your Own Storage'. Odaseva says this will enable customers to host their own backup data and have even better control of their data.

In addition, since the beginning of 2022, Odaseva has added more than 300,000 new Salesforce users, and the company is now protecting 14 petabytes of data globally.

Odaseva says among its customers include the likes of Schneider Electric and Manulife Insurance, which both use Odaseva to ensure business continuity and move Salesforce data to any system.

The company says global and regional system integrators use its data platform to meet the underlying data challenges that make scaling Salesforce difficult: data protection, data compliance, and data agility.

Odaseva says partners use its platform to future-proof their implementations, set clients up for optimal performance and growth, and deliver critical ongoing managed data services.
