NYC data center provider DataGryd becomes approved CenturyLink vendor

New York City data center provider DataGryd has become an approved vendor of CenturyLink, which means DataGryd can now provide CenturyLink customers data center and colocation solutions.

DataGryd, which operates services in Lower Manhattan's 60 Hudson Street carrier hotel, serves customers with a minimum commitment of 100kW, up to 5MW.

Most recently, DataGryd unveiled the completion of MegaSuite 6, a purpose-built, high-density and high-performance data center suite designed to meet clients' expanding requirements for data processing and storage.

Customers of both CenturyLink and DataGryd are now able to expeditiously order services and solutions enhancing complementary service offerings and capabilities across each company.

DataGryd recently completed construction of its MegaSuite 6 data center suite within its carrier hotel.

In addition to near-limitless scalability in the heart of a global networking and business hub, tenants of MegaSuite 6 benefit from megawatt configurations supported by 5,000 kilowatts (kW) of utility power generators and cooling towers. MegaSuite 6 delivers 72,000 square feet of support infrastructure and provides wholesale pricing and customizable suites starting at 100 kW, 250kW, 500kw and up to 5 MW for turnkey entry into the New York market, the company explains.

MegaSuite 6 connects to more than 300 carriers, network providers and exchanges, as well as six fully operational subsea systems anchored in the building.

DataGryd's power source is a direct feed from the utility, with dual power feeds that are entirely separated from the building for increase resiliency.
