Netradyne & Intelex collaborate to boost UK fleet safety
Thu, 25th Apr 2024

Netradyne, a specialist in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for fleet and driver safety, has announced its expansion into the United Kingdom's market through a partnership with Intelex, a leading provider of aftermarket vehicle safety solutions.

This collaboration integrates Netradyne's advanced Driveri vision-based safety camera system into the Intelex Fleetly vehicle tracking system, offering comprehensive vehicle safety solutions to fleet operators and logistics organisations in the United Kingdom and heralding a radical shift in road safety and fleet management practices.

Driveri leverages artificial intelligence, machine learning, and edge computing to redefine safe driving practices for commercial vehicles, acting to mitigate unsafe driving incidents, protect against false claims, and enhance driver competency via recognition for safe driving manoeuvres and coaching for risky driving behaviour.

The merger with Fleetly enhances its capabilities, providing state-of-the-art telematics, video analytics, AI-powered insights, walkaround checks, vehicle diagnostics, and tachograph live with remote downloads.

"By combining Netradyne's industry-leading Driveri with Intelex's Fleetly platform, we are confident in delivering improved driver safety and fleet management efficiency to fleet operators in the United Kingdom," stated Durgadutt Nedungadi, Sr. Vice-President for International Business at Netradyne. He added that the unique Driver Scoring System, GreenZone, based on positive reinforcement, "provides a holistic view of entire fleet and drivers while motivating drivers to adopt defensive driving practices, ultimately making U.K. roads safer for everyone."

Netradyne’s Driveri offers more than just standard video telematics. It also equips fleet operators with compound alerts and high and low g-force detection. The system can even alert drivers about weather conditions, enhancing Netradyne's uniqueness in the industry.

Expressing excitement about the partnership, Mallesh Cheekoti, Managing Director at Intelex Systems, said, "This partnership represents our shared commitment to providing cutting-edge technology that enhances safety and efficiency for fleets of all sizes. We aim to set new vehicle safety and fleet management standards for the U.K. market."

One of the strongest attributes of Netradyne’s Driveri system is its ability to capture and analyse 100% of the drive time and generate crisp high-resolution videos. The intensive analysis of day-long driving makes Netradyne stand out among other vendors in terms of data collection. This fulsome data aids in training AI models to achieve an accuracy of up to 99%. With more than 12 billion driving miles already analysed, these highly precise AI models substantially reduce false alerts, helping fleet managers gain driver trust while providing the most precise analytics.
