NetDocuments is launching two new data centres in Australia, in a colocation deal with NextDC.
The cloud-based document and email management company says the move will support its growing Australian customer base, which includes a top 10 Australian law firm, and provide it with stronger connections to Asia.
NetDocuments also has data centres in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Craig Scroggie, NextDC chief executive, says the announcement illustrates the importance to the domestic market of national, neutral data centre operators like NextDC, that offer ‘an industry-leading service’ to the world’s leading IT companies and encourages their investment in Australia.
Alvin Tedjamulia, NetDocuments chief technology officer, says the company relies on ‘world-class companies like NextDC to build and support a best-of-breed technology infrastructure that will ensure a highly secure, reliable and efficient environment for NetDocuments’ global content management service’.
