Kinaxis appoints Phillip Teschemacher as new APAC President
Wed, 15th Nov 2023

Singapore-based supply chain solutions leader, Kinaxis Inc., has announced the appointment of industry veteran, Phillip Teschemacher, as their new Asia Pacific (APAC) President. This development comes as part of the company's strategic endeavour to bolster its growing global footprint and highlight their commitment to a 'Customer First and Partner Centric' approach.

Teschemacher brings over two decades of leadership and sales experience in the supply chain industry to the role. His expertise includes senior leadership stints at Blue Yonder as Corporate Vice President EMEA and leading the digital supply chain and IoT sales team for SAP's Nordic region. This comprehensive understanding of supply chains and a track record of proven sales makes Teschemacher an ideal fit to guide Kinaxis' APAC operations, especially amidst disruptions from geopolitics to extreme weather-related events.

His purview will encompass assisting APAC-based companies in mitigating risks and improving end-to-end supply chain visibility. This assumes significant importance in light of the ongoing supply chain crisis globally, driven by issues such as transportation bottlenecks, raw material shortages and components constraints.

Claire Rychlewski, Executive Vice President, Global Field Sales at Kinaxis, spoke highly of Teschemacher's appointment, saying: "In Phillip, we have that critical eye who will help APAC businesses thread what can sometimes seem like an impossible needle. With his extensive leadership experience and ability to customise supply chain processes in pursuit of efficiency and sustainability, Phillip will enable us to eliminate blind spots across supply chains."

Teschemacher expressed his anticipation at the new role: "It is an honour to join the Kinaxis team and lead our efforts in APAC, a fast-moving region that continues to occupy an outsize amount of importance on the global supply chain stage. Supply chain challenges have never been more critical or costly. I look forward to working closely with our customers and partners to drive innovation and ensure that Kinaxis' unique AI-powered technologies continue..."

He added optimistically about the precision, speed and elegance Kinaxis' AI-powered technologies bring in overcoming these unprecedented challenges to ensure a more intelligent supply chain.
