Express Data takes on SAP

24 Sep 2014

Express Data NZ has secured a distribution agreement with SAP, with the local distributor keen to stress that SAP 'is not just an ERP vendor'.

The deal will see Express Data NZ offering SAP's database and technology, analytics and enterprise mobility solutions to the New Zealand channel.

The SAP offerings include the Crystal Reports and Crystal Server business intelligence reporting and analysis offerings.

The distributor will provide end-to-end management and support for SAP resellers in New Zealand, from query and quote to software delivery, and says it will streamline the buying and administration process for partners and allow them to focus on customer services.

Express Data says it will handle all partner engagement and certification requirements and will be supporting Kiwi resellers with value-added services to help drive marketing, sales and implementation of SAP's technology solutions.

“SAP are currently focused on driving channel engagement, with a global mandate to deliver 40% of their revenue through their indirect business by 2015,” Express Data says.

“The opportunities are endless for savvy partners in the database and analytics game to take advantage of partnering with us to deliver both outstanding business outcomes and strong partner profitability.”

Dicker Data, which acquired Express Data NZ earlier this year, is already a distributor for SAP in Australia.
