East West Manufacturing has acquired Vexos, expanding its manufacturing footprint across the Americas and Asia.

Vexos adds operations in the US, Canada, Mexico, China and Vietnam to East West's existing network. The transaction increases scale in high-mix, high-complexity manufacturing and broadens East West's reach in sectors including medical, aerospace and AI data centres.

The acquisition brings together two manufacturers focused on electronic and electro-mechanical products. The combined business will cover more of the product lifecycle, from design and industrialisation to manufacturing, fulfilment and delivery.

East West has more than 2,700 employees across nine facilities in seven countries, according to company information. Vexos describes itself as a provider of electronics manufacturing services and custom material solutions for original equipment manufacturers in markets including industrial, medical, computing, communications, aerospace, defence, space and automotive.

Network expansion

For East West, the deal extends a long-term growth strategy centred on integrated manufacturing services. Adding Vexos strengthens its engineering, manufacturing and supply chain operations, while giving customers access to more production resources and technical support.

Integration planning is already under way through a joint team from both companies. The work is focused on combining the businesses while maintaining continuity for customers, employees and partners.

Ryan Flynn, Chief Executive Officer of East West, said Vexos had established a strong position in the markets it serves.

"Vexos has built an impressive reputation for engineering excellence, quality and customer service," said Ryan Flynn, Chief Executive Officer of East West Manufacturing.

He said the fit between the two companies reflected both technical and operational alignment.

"Its capabilities align naturally with East West and add to our expertise in helping customers navigate complex engineering, manufacturing and supply chain challenges. Just as importantly, we both share a commitment to putting customers first, investing in people and building long-term business relationships," Flynn said.

Sector reach

Vexos adds exposure to regulated industries with more demanding manufacturing requirements, including medical and aerospace, as well as products linked to AI data centres.

Manufacturers serving those sectors often need tighter quality controls, more detailed supply chain oversight and the ability to manage smaller runs of complex products. The deal also increases East West's presence in North America and Asia at a time when many customers are reviewing where they design, source and assemble products.

Paul Jona, Chief Executive Officer of Vexos, said the transaction matched his company's direction.

"This acquisition aligns with East West's strategy to grow as an Integrated Manufacturing Solutions company with a focus on offering differentiated capabilities to customers at scale and globally," said Paul Jona, Chief Executive Officer of Vexos.

"We are excited to join the East West family and begin this stage of growth together," Jona said.

Neither company disclosed financial terms. East West said customers of both groups would gain access to stronger engineering support, additional manufacturing capacity and a broader set of services through the enlarged organisation.

The transaction also reflects continuing consolidation in outsourced electronics manufacturing, as companies seek broader geographic coverage and deeper sector expertise. Customers in areas such as medical devices, aerospace systems and computing infrastructure are increasingly looking for suppliers that can support product development, production and logistics across several regions.

As integration progresses, East West said the combined group would seek to preserve the strengths of both organisations. Vexos' presence in the US, Canada, Mexico, China and Vietnam gives the buyer a broader international base in some of the main manufacturing corridors used by electronics companies.
