Dimension Data scoops 24 award wins with Cisco

03 Nov 2017

Dimension Data today announced that it is the recipient of two Cisco Partner Summit Global Awards for Architectural Excellence Partner of the Year, Security, and Marketing Innovation Partner of the Year. Cisco unveiled the winners at a Global Awards reception during its annual partner conference taking place this week in Dallas, Texas.  Dimension Data also scooped a further 22 geographic and regional Cisco awards.

Awarded to channel partners who rise to business challenges, the Cisco Partner Summit Global awards are designed to recognise superior business practices and reward best-in-class methodologies. Areas of consideration include innovative processes, architecture-led successes, strategic business outcome-focused programmes, seizing new opportunities, and sales approaches.

“I am pleased to recognise these exemplary partners who continue to push the envelope to drive value for our customers.  They continue to demonstrate outstanding leadership and bold innovation to respond to the hyper-changing world,” said Wendy Bahr, senior vice president, Global Partner Organisation, Cisco. “I am thrilled to present the two global awards to Dimension Data in recognition of its outstanding achievements in helping customers transform, grow and succeed.”

Jason Goodall, Group CEO, Dimension Data says, “We’re extremely proud to again be recognised with multiple awards this year. We have worked with Cisco for 26 years and these awards are testimony to our ongoing commitment at global and country basis. Together, we’re also helping communities around the globe transform their lives. A great example of this commitment to making a difference is our joint initiative called Connected Conservation, aimed at dramatically reducing the number of rhinos being poached in South Africa.  Thanks to the passion of the employees of both organisations, and some of the world’s most sophisticated technology, the number of rhino being poached was reduced by a staggering 96% in the area we implemented the solution.”

Cisco Partner Summit Global awards reflect the top-performing partners within specific technology markets across all geographical regions. All award recipients are selected by a group of Cisco Global Partner organisation and regional executives.
