DataDirect Networks, Inspur embark on joint sales to push HPC solutions
DataDirect Networks and China-based cloud computing provider Inspur have signed a joint sales and marketing agreement that will bring more computing solutions to HPC infrastructure customers worldwide.
The two companies will offer solutions based on DDN storage platforms integrated with servers, networking, software and Inspur services.
Larry Jones, DDN partner manager for the Inspur relationship, says the partnership will build on the global joint success the companies have achieved in China.
“DDN’s leadership in massively scalable, high-performance storage solutions, combined with Inspur’s global data center and cloud computing solutions, offer customers extremely efficient, world-class infrastructure options,” Jones says.
The two companies will target verticals including financial services, academia, life sciences and oil and gas.
“Inspur has worked closely with DDN on projects across China for many years, and we are excited to expand our collaboration with DDN to deliver joint solutions to customers worldwide,” says Vangel Bojaxhi, worldwide business development manager at Inspur Technologies.
Inspur has been instrumental in developing high performance computing (HPC) R&D, system design, manufacturing, deployment, operation, service and maintenance of petascale supercomputers. The company has also been involved with deep learning solutions.
“Together, we offer customers some of the most effective and compelling HPC, Deep Learning, Big Data and Cloud Computing solutions in the market,” Bojaxhi says.
