SnapLogic Adds Former Salesforce President to Board
SnapLogic, the enterprise automation and intelligent integration pioneer, recently appointed former Salesforce President, Tony Owens, to its board of directors. Owens' mission will be to mentor the teams in go-to-market strategy and guide the company's global expansion efforts.
Owens, a seasoned industry veteran, brings with him over two decades of experience in constructing and supervising global sales operations. His track record includes playing a key role in growing Salesforce's revenue to over $10B. In his new position, Owens plans to work in close collaboration with SnapLogic's leadership to steer the company's strategy and uncover new growth and sales prospects.
"It's a privilege to join SnapLogic's board of directors as the company enters its next stage of growth," says Owens. "SnapLogic has already established itself as a leader in enterprise integration and automation with proven success across major verticals. I look forward to working with the team to continue to drive innovation, expand the global footprint, and reach even more customers to help propel their business success."
This announcement comes on the heels of SnapLogic recording substantial revenue and customer growth and doubling its workforce over the past year. CEO Gaurav Dhillon believes that this growth trajectory is set to continue, stating, "By continuing to invest in product, global expansion, and key executive hires, SnapLogic is positioned to scale like never before."
Dhillon further added that SnapLogic's unique platform is increasingly being sought after by companies in the wake of significant market shifts. Customers are seeking platforms that can automate their business processes, streamline data collection, and bolster their analytics and AI/ML initiatives to stay ahead in these volatile times.
Earlier this year, SnapLogic unveiled several innovative developments, including its availability on the Google Cloud Marketplace and the launch of SnapGPT, the first-ever generative AI solution for enterprise applications and the modern data stack. These advancements, as noted by Jeremiah Stone, CTO at SnapLogic, are part of the company's commitment to replacing legacy technologies with intelligent integration and automation solutions to meet the evolving needs of an expanding customer base.
