Hitachi, global provider of advanced IT and technology, recently announced the launch of their new “Global Brand Campaign”, which is to be set in motion in 19 countries via various media. The goal? To build the brand of Hitachi through collaborative creation with customers and partners, with the headline being “THE FUTURE IS OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS”.

Beginning in 2013, the Global Brand Campaign has been communicating a unified message around the world. The campaign is to be aligned with the management vision based on the “2018 Mid-term Management Plan”, which was created during the current fiscal year. The objective is to make maximum use of IT and OT (operational technologies), two of Hitachi's core strengths, while promoting collaborative creation with customers as an innovation partner in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT).

Hitachi is committed to lead innovations in both society and industry in the IoT era, and this is made clear by the promotion of their Social Innovation business, embodying Hitachi's tenacious perseverance to achieve the goals of their 2018 Mid-term management plan.

In terms of the media, Hitachi intends to utilise television commercials and Internet advertising to provide an exciting means of expressing the ideas achieved through collaborative creation, resolving social issues in the IoT era. Their main motive is to accelerate the value of the Hitachi brand, broadly communicating to partners and customers around the globe about Hitachi's active stance of facing up to increasingly complex social issues, seeking resolution through collaborative creation with stakeholders.

Hitachi also renovated their “Social Innovation Hub”, an Internet site that aggregates data related to the Hitachi Group's activities around the world. Hitachi assures that by further strengthening its transmission of information, the company will be able position a business environment that further enhances collaborative creations with customers and partners around the world.
