Dicker Data has entered a distribution partnership with Extreme Networks, allowing Extreme Networks to have its enterprise-grade networking offerings distributed across the Australian market.

“I’m pleased to welcome Extreme Networks to the Dicker Data business,” says Vlad Mitnovetski, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, Dicker Data.

“We see a great opportunity to scale the reach of Extreme’s solutions in the Australian market and will be actively positioning their portfolio to both our extensive IT partner channel as well as the access control and surveillance markets.”

Jeff Hurmuses, Senior Vice President of Sales at Extreme Networks, says the company’s offerings will provide significant value to Dicker Data’s partners across all verticals, from healthcare and education to manufacturing and logistics.

“Extreme Networks is focused on making connectivity simpler and more secure so our customers can work smarter, be more agile and reduce risk,” Hurmuses says.

“We push the boundaries of cloud networking technologies, driven by our vision of the ‘Infinite Enterprise’ where enterprise-grade connectivity ensures a consumer-centric experience anywhere and at any time.

“We’re excited to be working with Vlad, Chris and the Dicker Data team. The channel is key to our growth, and we’re delighted to partner with Dicker Data who, with over 40 years’ experience with the Australian IT sector, have a deep knowledge of the local market.”

Delivering cloud connectivity, Extreme Networks facilitates strategic networking by providing cloud connectivity. It also offers a customer-centric application experience that can scale to meet the needs of growing businesses.

The company offers automation, machine learning, AI Ops and the industry’s first digital twin technology, using a single platform to give customers secure connectivity at the edge of the network, speed cloud deployments and uncover actionable insights.

“We are pleased to partner with Dicker Data and look forward to building a strong, strategic relationship,” says John Campbell, Distribution Sales Director, Extreme Networks.

“Dicker Data has forged a reputation of distribution excellence and is well positioned to meet the needs of our ANZ partner community with pre-sales and technical support, as well as a host of other value-add services.

“We are excited to see the value that this partnership will deliver in the months ahead.”

This distribution partnership with Extreme Networks comes after Dicker Data extended its collaboration with NVIDIA to encompass additional products in its portfolio for Australian and New Zealand markets.

Dicker Data will distribute NVIDIA DGX systems to deliver AI solutions at scale for large enterprises and governments. NVIDIA vGPU (virtual GPU) solutions for virtual desktops and workstations; NVIDIA AI Enterprise software for data science and AI; and NVIDIA enterprise GPUs to accelerate AI, high-performance computing, data science and graphics.
