Brisbane’s DC market continues to expand

iseek, a service provider to the enterprise - government sectors today announced it is expanding its Eagle Farm data center campus located in Brisbane, Queensland.

The current Eagle Farm data center, launched in 2010 established a new benchmark in energy efficiency through technology innovation, winning the WSP Award for Best Sustainable Development – New Buildings, at the Property Council of Australia/Rider Levett Bucknall Innovations and Excellence Awards in 2012.

The new expansion builds on that innovation, growing iseek's portfolio of energy efficient data centers in Australia.

The expansion is the third iseek Brisbane data center, and the second to be located in the same precinct.

The new data center will be an Uptime Institute Tier 4 rated, 6MW purpose-built greenfield facility significantly expanding iseek's footprint in the Queensland market for data center services targeting Q1 2020.

In addition, further expansion In May this year will see the opening of the new purpose-built iseek Townsville Data Center.  iseek is one of the largest data center providers in the Queensland market.
